Official Rules

“Last Seen Online” Paperback Giveaway (US Only)

Sponsor: Dan Williams

Prize: Two (2) winners will each receive one (1) paperback copy of Last Seen Online. ARV: $14.99 USD each. Total ARV: $29.98 USD.

Entry Period: Begins February 17, 2026 and ends March 3, 2026 at 10:59 AM Eastern Time.

Drawing Date/Time: March 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C. Void where prohibited. Must be 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees/household members of Sponsor are not eligible.

How to Enter

To enter, you must subscribe to the Dan Williams Novels mailing list during the Entry Period and confirm your subscription (if a confirmation email is required).

One (1) entry per person/email address.
Existing subscribers as of the end of the Entry Period are included and receive one (1) entry, provided they remain subscribed through the drawing time.
No purchase is required to subscribe.

Winner Selection and How the Drawing Will Happen
Two (2) winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries using Wheel of Names (wheelofnames.com), a tool that selects a random winner by spinning a wheel containing the entered names/emails.

Process:

At the close of the Entry Period (March 3, 2026 at 10:59 AM ET), Sponsor will export the list of eligible subscriber email addresses from the mailing list platform.
Sponsor will remove obvious duplicates (if any) so each eligible email address appears only once.
Sponsor will paste the eligible entries into Wheel of Names and spin the wheel to select Winner #1, then spin again to select Winner #2.
The drawing will be conducted live on TikTok on Sponsor’s account @vermontauthor at 11:00 AM ET on March 3, 2026.

Important: You do not need to be watching the TikTok LIVE to win, and watching the LIVE does not provide additional entries.

Live Stream Issues

If the TikTok LIVE is interrupted (for example, due to technical difficulties), Sponsor may (a) continue the drawing once the LIVE resumes, (b) restart the LIVE, or (c) complete the drawing off-live using the same method and post the results afterward. Sponsor is not responsible for platform outages or stream disruptions.
Winner Notification

Winners will be notified by email within 24 hours of the drawing. If a selected winner does not respond within 72 hours, is ineligible, unsubscribes prior to the drawing time, or fails to provide a valid U.S. shipping address, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.
Shipping

Prize will be shipped to U.S. addresses only (50 states + D.C.). Sponsor will pay standard shipping. Winners are responsible for providing a complete and accurate mailing address.
Odds

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
No Cash, No Substitution

Prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. No substitution except at Sponsor’s sole discretion (for example, if the stated prize becomes unavailable, a prize of equal or greater value may be provided).
Privacy

Emails are handled according to Sponsor’s website privacy policy. Winners’ mailing addresses will be used only to ship the prize.
Release and Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor from claims arising from participation or prize use, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, or misdirected entries or technical failures.
Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners agree that Sponsor may use their first name and last initial (e.g., “Sarah M.”) for announcement purposes, unless prohibited by law.
